Day 18 – War and Order

War and Order is the first strategy game in my 90 Day Challenge, and when I saw it on the list, I was apprehensive. Firstly, it honestly took some playing to get anywhere. The pace is extremely slow. The graphics are cool, and it wasn’t too complex to develop my castle. However I did find most of my time was spent performing the same tasks, over and over, in cycles. Build, upgrade, build something new, upgrade again, build something new (again), upgrade it all a few more times. Eventually I got to attack something, but then it was all about the buildings… again. This is probably why I don’t play these types of games. Sorry.

Considering the investment of time required, and the fact tomorrow I’ll be playing something different, I could not continue playing on. Although with some commitment I could see the enjoyment of growing my castle, hero, attacking beasts, making online friends and building alliances to rule the lands. War and Order isn’t a game for quick play sessions between meetings.
