Day 20 – Snipers vs Thieves

We were recently introduced to Snipers vs Thieves by the games publisher during a meeting. The game is in pre-release at the moment, but can be downloaded for iOS and Android.

Snipers vs Thieves

The games concept is solid. It’s a multiplayer game, and you have to pick between playing as a Sniper (my preferred option), or a thief. If you pick the thief, the premise is simple, you’ve just robbed specific venue, in this first instance a bank, and you have to taunt, run, duck and roll to each checkpoint around the map to eventually reach your getaway van. As you can guess, the sniper is tasked with trying to take out the thief from a distance.

The graphics aren’t bad, but the audio is quite flat and uninspiring. The games levelling system seems a little lacklustre as the rewards and benefits you can unlock aren’t all that exciting. However you can unlock some powerful bullets later on, as well as new ways to dodge the sniper.

So far, the game is a little too repetitive and feels like it is missing a few features, but taking into account it’s a pre-release, the hope would be that the developers will be releasing further updates to build on what is a promising game. We hope at least anyway.
