Day 28 – Dash Quest

How would I describe Dash Quest? How about Temple Run if it was a 2D pixel game, you had a sword and could also shoot magic at incoming enemies. Yeah, that’s Dash Quest. OK, maybe it’s nothing like Temple Run. Maybe it is. Either way the game was enjoyable for the most part, slashing away and upgrading your abilities whilst you continue down a path of continuous danger.

When it came to the first boss, I actually had a difficult time beating it. I normally like to lose a couple of times, it shows challenge. But I’m convinced I only lost due to a poorly configured control scheme. The ‘Defend’ button on screen didn’t work. I’m not sure what it was supposed to do and it seemed rather ineffective (did I miss something here?). Overall the game had some great mechanics and it wasn’t bad all said and done.
