Day 39 – Futurama: Game of Drones

What would happen if Futurama and Candy Crush had mobile game babies? That’s right, Futurama: Game of Drones, is a fun take on the classic, blockbuster franchise; Candy Crush. The game is amusing to play, it’s a simple process of matching drones and clearing the missions. Different mission types include matching a predefined amount of different drones, taking out an enemy by matching more than them, removing toxic waste by creating matches on the correct squares etc. Ultimately, the objective remains the same, match drones.

The game is just a little too easy for me. Although it was amusing, and it’s cool to see your favourite (and least favourite) characters, the challenge is not there. You’re guided along so well, the game might as well play itself. There was a distinct lack of purchasable upgrades and items. and new items. If you’re a fan of Futurama, and are sick of Candy Crush, this might be what you’re looking for.
